Man... Christmas has come and gone!! We had a blast Christmas... Christmas Eve we went to the Madsens Annual Xmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Madsen's house.. Had really yummy dinner and i got some books and Damon got some cash... Then we went home and waited for damon's mom and stepdad to come down.. it has been a long time we seen them since August.. had a really nice chat and had pizza for late dinner.. Damon and I decided we open our stockings instead of Xmas day so it was fun seeing what we got in our stockings...
Xmas morning... we went over to Grandma Billings house for breakfast and presents.. It was fun!! WE got HUGE tent a family like 2 bedroom and living room tent kind.. Neat... then we came home and made Xmas dinner for us and damon's parents.. It was so delicious! Damon made a really awesome ham.. soo GOOD!! Then Damon's parents decided they had to leave to head back to SLC before more snow get worse.. Damon and i enjoyed a really nice quiet evening together, watching movies and i even got to play new video and pc games!!
Friday-- we went out to movies with my family to see BOLT.. it was soo cute movie... it has been a long time since we went out to the movies.. Damon and I spent the day out since it was so nice out... Saturday night we went over to my family's house and had dinner with them.. it was so good... i miss having that chicken..
So far we are back at work... UGH... Im not so looking forward to the new year... i dont know what it will bring us-- a better year or just same average year like this year has been.. So many ups and downs with finances and life... When it will ever end so i can have better life??? GEEZ!.. So we wish you guys a Happy New year 2009 and may it be good one for you all!

Can you believe all that snow!! It came down hard just after Damon and I got home from work. Work was good, there was TONS of QA (Quality Audit) coming in since everything was down last week. It was good to stay busy and etc. I couldn't believe it snowed all night but not a lot until now just after we got home from work. I hope tonight we get to work safe. At least tomorrow is the last work day of the week for us yay!
It was a fun Saturday. My family and my cousins Amber and Adam came over to my house to do gingerbread houses. It was blast putting it together and deciding what we want on it. My mom cleaned the house by vaccumming the whole house and cleaned bathrooms.. It was nice and im grateful and appreciative of her. My dad got the drain cleaned out and showed Damon how to do it so we can keep it clean instead of dealing with drain clogging... Also my dad got us new filter for the heater so we now know how to do that as well.. Fun learning how to deal with the house stuff. Damon and I bought sandwiches from store the day before. So we provided lunch and it was really good. Damon and I was gonna go over to Gramas and also to my family's house later that night but didnt, because Damon ended up not feeling good for some reason. So we ended up watching James Bond: Quantum of Solace and Fred Claus and we made mac and cheese with hotdogs. It was really good. We ended up going to bed early.. So here is the pic of the house that me and damon did together. We hope to do it again next year. It was a blast!
Alas.... Work defintely sucks!!! I was off since yesterday.. now i had to take tomorrow off as well.. They had to fully suspend the whole production just because of a system crash.. So they are working on fixing it, since nothing was going through the system... Hopefully it be up and running by Monday or i go nuts because i need money just to be able to pay bills for Jan!!! At least I'm excited for Saturday.. see my family and MAKE gingerbread houses with my cousin Amber and her hubby Adam and my family.. Then go slc with my family depending on the weather.... fun fun times!!

awesome seeing them today... It has made mine and Damon's day!! Today was so difficult day.. Everything wasn't going the way we wanted. Not getting much sleep and etc. It is really awesome knowing that my family is always there for me and Damon during this diffuclt time. We are so thankful for their support and am looking forward to the new year with their support behind us. .. We love you all and hope you guys have a Merry Christmas coming up!!!!
I just had my hair dyed and cut on Dec 5 2008 which is last friday ... Its a mix of red and brown.. I totally love it.. My friend, Cindy (Cynthia) Rowley did my hair.. Its at a place called Command Performance in Orem just right behind Artic Circle... I recommend anyone go there!!! I will work on updating so can see everything like my wedding and etc. I totally love this blog!! Like a real life journal for everyone to see!
Merry Christmas to you all!! This is our first family christmas letter...
We are actually doing pretty well despite struggles this year. We had bought our first home, a townhouse this past August. We have been living in our new home this past few months and loving it every minute of it!! This is also our first christmas with our own first christmas tree in our new home ALONE!!! FINALLY ALONE!! No more living with Damon's parents!! This is a truly an achievement to the past struggles we been through this past 5 years of our marriage living with them..... Both of us are stll currently working at The Generations Network (TGN).
Damon is doing very well at TGN and is loving every minute of it. He loves whats he doing at work, and always learning something new everyday, adding it to his technical knowledge and experience. He has recently been promoted to Team Lead which he has been for a few months. He has been so happy with the new promotion since he has been working hard to get it since he been at the company for three years now.
Me.. Well this year has been a tough one on me. I was laid off from TGN the past year and was working for another company for five months. I worked tirelessly to get rehired back to TGN and was successfully rehired past March. I love being on the Imaging Team. I am able to learn new equipment and also learning something new everyday!! I have made few good friends and get along so well with my coworkers on my shift, including my supervisor. They are soo awesome!!! My previous job at TGN when I was laid off was with the Indexing Team. Im so glad im not back on that team anyways because im always kept busy and pushed to new things on my current team and able to do so well and do what im supposed to be doing.
Our baby girl, Mandi (she's an American Eskimo/yellow lab mix breed) shes doing well and is still lovable like always!!!!
We are looking forward to the upcoming new year and see what it brings us. We are hoping to have a little bundle of joy hopefully in the new year 2009. we see how things goes!!!
